Privacy Policy

This policy explains how BypassLines handles information in connection with our public website, restaurant account setup, AI phone ordering, customer order review and payment workflow, and Merchant Dashboard. BypassLines is identified in our previously published policy as BypassLine Cares, Inc. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean BypassLines. Information we receive

• Restaurant accounts and setup: contact name, restaurant or business name, email, telephone number, location, account credentials, onboarding information, menu and modifier information, connection status and support correspondence.
• Ordering activity: caller or customer contact information provided during the ordering experience; requested items, quantities, modifiers and instructions; order amounts, status, payment references and associated operational records. Voice input is processed to understand and assemble the order. Depending on the enabled restaurant configuration, call-related records may include audio, transcripts, summaries and call metadata.
• Verification and payments: information needed to verify a business, manage a subscription or complete an order payment. Payment and verification providers collect information through their own secure workflows. BypassLines receives relevant identifiers and status information needed to operate the service. Do not send card numbers, passwords or identity documents to our general support mailbox or public product assistant.
• Website and security records: IP address, browser/device information, requested pages, timestamps, error records and authentication or security events. Our public product guide processes the questions you enter to provide product information.

How information is used

We use information to provide and secure accounts; guide restaurant onboarding; check compatibility and setup progress; process ordering conversations; assemble, review, pay for and deliver orders through the restaurant’s supported workflow; display and manage orders; provide support; send verification, recovery, billing and service-status communications; investigate errors or misuse; and meet applicable legal obligations.

Account creation and business verification do not by themselves mean a restaurant is live. Operational records help determine whether required setup and activation checks are complete.

Restaurants and service providers

Order information is shared with the restaurant fulfilling the order and the providers needed for the connected restaurant workflow. We also use providers for hosting, voice processing, account verification, payments, email delivery and related operations. They receive information relevant to their role. Their own privacy notices may also apply when you use their services.

Restaurants determine how they fulfill orders and use information in their own systems. For questions about a restaurant’s menu, order fulfillment or its own customer records, contact that restaurant. BypassLines can help with questions concerning information handled by our service.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate misuse, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable protections. This policy does not authorize new uses of information collected under earlier privacy promises without any notice or consent required by law.

Cookies and the public product assistant

Secure account services use cookies or similar session mechanisms for authentication and related functionality. The current public AI Ordering website does not load advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Its Ask BypassLines guide provides responses from approved product information; it is not a private channel for sensitive information. Human follow-up is available through our contact email. The public guide does not create a merchant account or enroll you in onboarding.

Calls, accuracy and sensitive information

AI ordering processes what the caller says. Please provide only information needed for the order and review the order and payment details shown. Restaurants are responsible for applicable notices and permissions for their use of phone and customer information. Do not use the ordering service for emergencies. Contact the restaurant directly about allergies or other needs that require staff confirmation.

Retention and security

Information is retained as needed for the purposes described above, including account and order operations, support, billing, fraud prevention, recordkeeping and legal obligations. Different records may require different retention periods; closing an account does not necessarily erase transaction records that must be retained. We use access controls and other safeguards, but no system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

Contact info@bypasslines.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, or to ask about restrictions, portability or an applicable privacy right. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting, and applicable legal or operational exceptions may limit a request. Where applicable, you may withdraw consent or contact your local privacy regulator. We will not use a request as permission to disclose another merchant’s or customer’s information.

You can decline to provide optional information, though information required for an account or an order is necessary to provide that service. You may opt out of promotional communications through the instructions provided or by contacting us. Essential account, security, billing and service communications may still be sent. Restaurant accounts are intended for adult, authorized business representatives; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the public website.

Location and changes

Our service and providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate, subject to applicable requirements. We will post updates to this policy here and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. The update date above identifies this version.
